What's with Alan Shipnuck's mission to dig up all the dirt on Phil Mickelson? I know people who have been around all of the greats, guys like Arnold Palmer. Arnie had different women in every city with a tour stop. You think Phil is the only pervert on the PGA Tour? I must have missed Shipnuck's book on Rory and Amanda Balionis. Or the time Rory was banging some side chick while he was engaged to the tennis star, and fell through a glass table..

If you have ever been to a PGA tournament, the players wives/ girlfriends are hot as shite. Even Matt Fitzpatrick has a super hot finance. He looks like a shoe salesman from Sheffield England. Tiger was fricking more Hooters waitresses than Chipper Jones. All this to,say if any of you baws are so high and mighty to say you would be an altar boy if you were in their shoes, you’re a lying sack of shite

Norman got the red arse when the PGA told him he couldn’t go play events in Australia during the PGA season. This was early in his career and he was pissed because he wanted to play some dates in Australia. I’m sure there were other issues too, but that was one of his main beefs at least early in his career.

I’m not surprised at all that Phil is a scumbag and a degenerate. I mean, he was honestly viewed that way by most people until the wife cancer stuff redeemed his image.
That being said, I’m not gonna act appalled that a pro athlete travels around the world and cheats on his wife. Honestly, in those circles, the loyal ones are probably the outliers. I would assume most of those guys wives just learn to live with it or accept that it comes with the lifestyle they provide.

I don’t think over 50% are but I do think the percentage of serial cheaters goes way up for any rich dude who travels that much without their spouse for work. I don’t think it’s exclusive to pro golfers. That said, I don’t think it’s common for even serial cheaters to make bold runs at their buddy’s wife like Phil did, sending dick pics, etc. I think most just cheat on the road because they’re rich, its easy, and they’re narcissists

And, in the 80s and 90s when Greg was number one in the world he was getting offers of $500k appearance fees for outside events . PGA wouldn’t let him make that money.
