I'm a doctor. This virus is definitely scary. But my office is closed right now, so I played 36 holes Sunday, 18 yesterday, and 9 today. Planning on playing tomorrow and Sunday. I definitely keep my distance from anyone and don't touch anything that isn't mine; but I don't think golf is anymore risky than going for a walk or jog at your local park or green space if social distancing is maintained.

Golf seems to be about the safest thing you can do right now. Keep your distance and just touch your own stuff. I feel safer from the virus on the golf course than I do at the grocery store or a drive-thru restaurant.

Going to the grocery store is probably 100x more dangerous than playing a round of golf right now.

To end my post, until everyone stays home, not just golfers, Sunday Audubon Park was packed with walkers and joggers, plain selfesh. Until everyone stays home, we will battle this much longer, and I started to ignore your comment but...going to the store is a must.

Courses are not open for your benefit, they are open to make money.

But again your choice, trust me I would rather be playing than sitting home.

Just think if someone get the virus, your whole family can die

Have fun and I hope all Golfers are safe

Playing with a Doctor on saturday.

I live around the corner from the course. I have walked 9 EVERY SINGLE DAY since last Tuesday. get some exercise and I am always playing alone. golf is the perfect social distancing activity.

this sounds bad, but Covid-19 is the best thing thats ever happened to my golf game. I am down to a 15.3 handicap my putting is on point. and I get to walk for free. Also, it gives me and the lady friend time away from each other every day.

It's REALLY difficult to contract COVID19 in an outdoor setting where you aren't staying next to a person who is infected for 20+ minutes. The chances are almost zero.

.

Exactly. I get to be outside and not near anyone if I choose not to be.
