Played Riverlands about a month ago. It was in pretty good shape. Belle Terre was closed to redoing the greens so Riverlands had a lot of players and not enough carts. This was when it was 1 player per cart. Don't know if Belle Terre opened back up yet. Was suppose to open 9 holes but not sure if it happened.

Thanks Sorrento.

Playing in a scramble at Riverlands on Sunday. The course is nothing special, but it's always a good time out there. Those greens are always quicker than they appear

36 38, 74 at Links on the Bayou. 3 birdies. Think this is my lowest score in 23 yrs(I'm getting old). Took a couple of lessons that really improved my swing path. Course is in really good shape

40/38 Bayou Oaks South. 4 birdies. I tipped it out in prep for the state am although I was told it likely won’t play that long. First time playing the course so not terribly upset with that round. 2 doubles and 6 bogeys. The par 3s killed me more than anything. All in the 200+ range.

47/39 86 at Black Bear. First round since quarantine. Didn’t get a chance to warm up so the front was horrendous. Settled in to par 4 of the last 5.

Going to knock the dust of the bag and go play Cypress Lakes tomorrow since I have a free round. It will be the first round this year. Hit a few wedges this evening in the yard, wasn’t bad.

Played Cypress Lakes, in fair condition. Greens were slow but rolled true. 83 after a double, bogey, bogey start. Place was pretty packed.

Side note for Thibby; they have a tribute to Fashion Golf Club on hole 5, broken down tractor in front of the pond on #5. From the height of the grass under it I’d say its been there a while.

43-45 88 at Pelican today. Wedges and short irons were money. Driver and long irons let me down.

Greens were in pretty good shape. Slower than I expected based on how hard the fairways are, but they rolled true.

62 for our four man scramble at Riverlands today. Nothing better than a 3 all day, nothing worse than a 4. 15 under was the winning score

Copper Mill again yesterday. Out in 42 in in 41 for an 83. One birdie, 8 pars, 2 doubles and 2 god awful 3 putts. My 4 penalty strokes kept me out of the 70’s.
