re: June 19 WYP/WYS
Found my putting stroke(23 putts), shot 68 at Point Mallard in Decatur, AL, with a double on a 120 yard par 3 and pars on 3 of the par 5s.

Thought I was going to have a shot at a really low number after I birdied the 2 hardest holes.

89 @ LSU. Was the best round I've played in a while. I know you shooters are constantly sub 85, but for this hacker, I'm jacked!

8 pars (3 missed birdie opportunities)
6 bogeys
1 Double
3 Triples (Two were water hazard blow ups)

Notes: No bunker shots, no bladed or fat chips, only one three putt, and I got to fix multiple divots (it's the small things, ok!).

Was +7 on the back with a double and a triple. Par 3's ate my lunch for some reason.

re: June 19 WYP/WYS
41/41 at Santa Maria tipped out and no birdies. First time I’ve played it in over a year. It’s in decent shape. The bunkers are way too soft. Every step and sand would go over my shoes. But other than that, good fairways, tees and greens. They were a little slow with light top dressing but no punch. Looked mostly like fertilizer. Need to get used to how little the ball breaks out there. Missed everything on the high side.

I always say, quit playing break. There's no break. Then... I play break anyway and miss it.

Real high at CCL

I’m pronating, when I’m not supernating, I’m clearing too early, I’m clearing too late

My god my swing feels like an unfolding lawn chair

6/14/19 - Gray Plantation in Lake Charles

40-41 = 81
7 GIR
5/14 Fairways
30 Putts (0 3-putts)

Scrambling was pretty good. Really saved me a few times.

TIP: Remember to ask if the GPS in the cart is to current pins. Cost me a couple of shots early in the round before we realized they were marked to the center of the green.

Course was in excellent shape as usual. Greens were probably punched in early June. Rolled pretty true with just a little bump here and there.

Playing La Tour for the first time this weekend.

What kind of shape is it in?

Good shape, I know the course is booked Friday afternoon and Saturday morning so choose your tee time wisely

re: June 19 WYP/WYS
CCL is always perfect, pretty big difference between the #1/2 course in the state and a semi private course.

re: June 19 WYP/WYS
I think golf digest and golf advisor have CCL best course in state as far as layout
