I think Aberg is a phenomenal prospect, but I don’t think this is the sick burn you think it is.

You actually bumped a 6 month old thread because of a top 5 finish at the Arnold Palmer? This isn't the burn you think it is. Joel Dahmen has more top 10 than Aberg this year

He's also down 15 spots in the world rankings since the start of this thread, behind Patrick Reed.

He misses way too many 4-8 foot putts

He really does. If he gets his putting figured out he has a lomg and successful career ahead of him.

He's 26 years old. Scottie got his first win the year he turned 26. It can take time to learn how to win. You have to admit that his game is very impressive. I could watch him hit long irons all day.

Lol. See this is what I am talking about.. The glazing of this cat is unreal.

Sure - technically true. It’s also true that Scottie was #1 in the world, a 4 time PGA Tour winner, and Masters champion… all of that… before he turned 26.

I can appreciate that this guy is a very good player. But if not for no cut events, Ludvig begins this year WD-Cut-Cut-Cut. He has one good week and he’s back to being a top 5 Vegas favorite to win the Players.

Maybe he will live up to the hype one day..

Are there people comparing him to the all time greats though? I only bring up Scottie to say that it's not uncommon for a guy to break out in his late 20s. I believe the big reason people "glaze" is because he has an extremely aesthetically pleasing game/swing.

He self-owned himself in his own self-own thread 6 months after he started it. This is a first.

Rounds like today show you why people speak so highly of his game.

He hits effortless balls that are towering shots. When he’s got the putter going it’s really fun to watch.

Is Aberg the best player without a major?

Who else is in the debate?

Tommy, Cam, Hovland would be up there. People hate Cantlay and he’s fallen off recently, but he’s up there too.

If a troll bumps my thread I am going to respond

I am actually pretty happy though because I took Ludvig in my big money one and done league this week. What a ridiculous round yesterday..
