I don’t like Patrick Reed like most of you, but give the guy credit

He always shows up to represent the US, flying to Tokyo last minute to take DeChambeau’s spot, no time for a warm up round, after lots of top guys turned down the chance. Plus we know he shows up in team competitions, they guys is amazing in Ryder Cups.
By all accounts he’s a cheating jerk, but when it comes to repping America, he rises to the occasion

I dont dislike Patrick and I like his game.
Sure he made some mistakes but so has NFL, college, NBA, MLB and others players.
Golf is better when there are Heroes and Villians.

I respect Patrick for how he represents his country, his short game is incredible, he’s an incredible competitor and match play player. But he’s a cheater. That is an unforgivable sin in the golf world. It overshadows all the positive qualities

Why is he still allowed to compete in professional golf if he is a known cheater? Does the PGA allow cheating now or do they stil punish players for misdeeds on the course?

As far as I know, only one man has never ever bumped his ball, taken an improper drop, played winter rules, brushed the sand, improved his lie, carried more than 14 clubs, Vaselined his driver, massaged his hcp, hit a extra ball off the tee, marked his ball wrong and on and on...

He’s been caught cheating a few times going back to college. And he stole a teammates wallet at UGA. Ask anyone who knows about it.
