Do you have links to back up those claims? I've read a ton of allegations accusing Reed of cheating but I have yet to read one shred of evidence to support those claims. Are the Tour & USGA ignoring those "claims"?

I did. With UGA players and heard nothing. Not saying he’s an angel but there’s a reason Shane Ryan’s book that has these allegations in it arent quoted on his wiki page anymore. There is no proof of anything. It’s hearsay.

I've heard 2 separate UGA golfers tell me this personally, so I am going to believe them.

you can claim stuff was hearsay and the ball that bounced somehow magically still became embedded and whatever other excuses you want to make for him. That's fine he definitely still has plausible deniability in those incidents, but...
You really arguing him clearly sweeping the sand from behind his ball was a bad camera angle?

It was crystal clear from the camera angle I saw (behind the ball) that he swept the sand twice. He also used extremely poor judgement by removing his ball from the so called embedded lie before asking a competitor or rules official to verify the ball was embedded.

You quoted Ryan who I said his Reed stuff in his book was written from hearsay. Lol. There’s a reason it use to be used as a source on Reeds wiki page and now it isn’t.

I saw a feature by Todd Lewis of TGC today. He said that neither the coaches of the UGA & Augusta St could validate instances of cheating or stealing that Reed was being accused of.

If Patbaw is a cheater then I’m an astronaut.
How does someone who “cheats” win multiple times on tour and a major? Fact is EVERYBODY does it on tour.
If you all don’t like him because he’s a prick then so be it. Keep on being Tiger fanbois because he was sooooo great to fans his entire career…..

Everyone doesn't do it on tour. Minor cheating does happen though by many golfers. Mickelson was quoted in a article a few weeks ago saying there's a handful of golfers and everyone knows who they are that consistently mark their balls an inch or two from where they actually end up. Said it pisses everyone off but they're so good at it no one can ever catch them.

Just because he selectively cheats doesn’t mean he’s not an unbelievable golfer. Barry Bonds was the best player in baseball before he roided up. Super competitive assholes will do anything for any advantage. Those same guys are usually also awesome at their job.

But those coaches themselves said it likely happened. No one said it’s been proven, he’s good at it (minus the sand this year), but that dude has had accusations since high school, through multiple colleges, and into the pros.
I’m sorry, that’s like saying Cosby didn’t rape anyone. No proof!
