Obviously a low priority at the moment, but anyone keeping up with their home courses and how much flooding they are getting?

Could be a long time before playing golf in the area for a while.

I'm all the way in Austin and the most likely course to flood didn't get hit *too* bad- Onion Creek. 22 trees down around the course.

My home course butts against the Addicks reservoir. Just finished renovating after last year's floods and has 8"-10" in the clubhouse and locker rooms.

My boss lives near The Woodlands CC, he said the reservoir on Kuykendahl has flooded the entire Palmer course

But people make a living working there. So I hope they get up and running soon. Anything to help economy get going in affected areas is good imo.

Augusta on the Bayou holds water like a swimming pool so I can about imagine what it looks like now.

Come to Thib. We'll play tomorrow. I'll cover the green fees. You bring the snorkel gear.

Parts of Golf Club of Houston

Kingwood, where I play, will also be under water for a week or two and closed for at least a month, likely more.

How long have you been a member? I just recently joined in June.

Curious to know how long it took the course to be playable after the tax day floods.

GC of Houston #1 Tee. That's the UH golf coach kayaking to their practice facility to get their gear out.

I don't think anyone can name more than a few courses that aren't damaged. Of the ones I play normally, I only know of one that had not flooded as of yesterday. Quail valley in Missouri City.

Wildcat is mostly elevated, so it might be dry.

The 3 public courses i play in Pearland are underwater (clear Creek, southwest, and country place).

Black horse and cypresswood are flooded. Greatwood is fricked. River pointe and River ridge are at different spots on the Brazos and likely are wasted. Beer Creek for a long time will be under water.

And these are just the public ones I play.

So many are fricked. Houston golf has taken a devastating blow.

5 years will take a 2-3 weeks once the water is gone...just depends on Addicks (didn't have that problem last time).

Trying to post photos of the course but i'm not technically inclined.
