What does this mean? I knew PFCC would be in trouble. Sucks. It was in great shape when I played before the hurricane. Falcon Point here.

yea no chance. I'm fairly certain the club house flooded this time, which never happened in the past floods. It's going to be a month plus.

how much does this flood aid the pga tour in getting rid of the houston open? ... they're eventually moving everything up and need to make space, and it's long been rumored that houston was a viable option for removal from the schedule ... hate to see it for houston, but it's a possible reality ...

For PFCC. I'm thinking 2-3 weeks after the water recedes, the problem is Addicks reservoir isn't receding.

I've heard the Houston open was moving to Memorial Park.

FWIW, the muni courses (Memorial, Sharpstown, etc) will be open for play Friday. Not sure what they look like.

Turner wants to move it there. It would have never happened prior to Harvey, doesn't have the infrastructure.

Now, who knows.

My course, Sugar Creek CC. Although they sent an email saying they are trying to get one of our 9s open for play by Monday.

My cousin is a member/lives on Willow Fork CC, this is on #13 tee.

Not sure exactly when it was taken, but I think 2-3 days ago. Got an 11:00 out at Memorial tomorrow though so I wont have to wait until Monday to play thankfully.

Been there 3 years. Not worried about it coming back. Will be playing before you know it.

Played Southwyck today. Course is in as good of shape as it was before the floods. Triple bogie on #8 and #16 killed me. Shot an 81.

Correct, sir. I don't think you can get anywhere close to it.

Played Cypress Lakes on Monday. Good Shape greens still rolling true.

Got an IADC Golf Tourney email today. It was supposed to be played at Cypresswood next week, that will not happen. Email hinted that Cypresswood might be done for good.

I imagine a lot of courses will be done for good. The drought/flood conditions over the last few years have been hell on these courses. Combine that with the golf industry as a whole on the decline and most of these places were barely staying open anyways. Sad but true :-(

I'm a member at Willowfork. There are 5 or six holes that are open that are all being played as a par 3 for now. All of the water has now receded off of the course. The clubhouse is in back shape from Sewer back up so it is going to be closed for a while. The golf pro shop and Tennis facilities are open.

It appears that it is going to take awhile but Willowfork will rebuild.

Not sure Bear Creek will survive.

I know Blackhorse got a bunch of water.

I live just down the road from Houston National and their crew has been out working on it for the last few days. I haven't seen anyone playing there this week.

I may try to venture down to see how close I can get to Bear Creek this weekend. After the flood last year, it took several weeks before the water went down there.
