I always hate golf until I hit that one perfect shot and then I love it until I swing the club again.

I went to a 9 hole pitch and putt today with the plan of playing it twice. The first nine I played so bad I just said frick it and went home. I'll be back next week, though.

I enjoy it when I don't have anything else going on.
I always chuckle at how soft golfers are. Almost every other sport the spectators and other players taunt and such. If you sneeze while a golfer is hitting they have a fit.

Had a set of hand me down clubs. Would go drink beer and drive the cart around. I'd never make it a full 18 holes. I mainly liked to start about 125-150 from the green and roll with it

I enjoyed when I was younger, even thought it was almost 5 hours for a round most days.

I hear ya. It can be fun with guys and drinking or peaceful and get away from people. But as far as being serious about it, it’s an extremely frustrating game to me. But some people like the challenge and I get that as well. But that’s them.
