It’s come a long way since the abortion of Chambers Bay.

That was a trainwreck. It has taken me this long to be objective since. Now that the stench of Chambers Bay is over I must say Fox is the best golf coverage by far. Great job hiring Azinger.

In fairness to the USGA, they have finally gotten out of their own way and this has been a great tournament. Unlike the debacles of Chambers Bay and Erin Hills, they chose to bring it back to a great venue and not get in the way with a wacky setup. I guess you have to hit rock bottom before recovery can start.

What makes you think so? As long as Buck is in the 18th tower they are third in my opinion.

And it’s made all the difference.

This US Open has been fantastic.

Are you serious? I'm not a fan Nick's, but he's a million times better than Buck. That and they are in different positions. I don't know if Buck even plays golf.

Buck is awful. Faxon is awwwwful.

And Joel Klatt is a douche but at least his Wiki pic remains undefeated.

Horrible. Curtis and Azinger sound like they are trying to outdo each other. Faxon still sucks after all of these years too.

Sigh. They can make any course whatever over/under par. Focus on aggregate score.

Faldo hasn't said a single thing of any substance or significance for at least 5 years. He quoted imagine fricking dragons at Augusta for God's sake

Y'all are out of your minds. This shite is absurd, did y'all hear Azinger nut in his britches when Woodland hit the 3 wood into 14? Saying players only hit a handful of 3 wood shots that good in their career and compared it to hitting a 1 iron?? Yea it was a good shot at a great time but come the frick on a 255 yard 3 wood being a career shot? It's like they think they have to make every shot a " In your life " call... Oh and frick Joe Buck

In 50 degree marine weather with a one or two shot lead on the back 9 of a US Open into some of the smallest greens in the world.

Oh yeah, after he had been getting a little squirrelly too. So, yes, that shot was pretty fricking impressive

Eta: it was 263 uphill by the way.

I mean...that was the most impactful shot of his career.
