I have this recurring dream that I somehow end up in a small room or building attempting to hit a golf shot.
Every time I set up for the shot and prepare to swing some wall, beam, or some other part of the building impedes my swing. In my dream I’m never able to figure out how to pull off the shot.
Having had a few physical issues with my back and shoulder recently that have restricted my game I wonder if the dream is an interpretation of these.
Anyone else have a similar golfing dream?

This might sound insane, but yes.

I had planned to never talk to anyone and just chalk it up to me being nuts.

It starts out trying to tee off. Then, its like hitting the Tin Cup bar scene shot for a first tee ball. It gets worse from there, and I wake up angry.

Yep. It’s a very frustrating dream. Always seems like there are people waiting for me to hit the shot but I can’t figure out how to pull it off. Ha.

I'm always in a structure of some sort, trying to tee up in cracks on the floor. Have to try to hit low duck hooks out of a garage door or something. Maybe we are the sane ones idk

I’ll have them, but I’m on the course and every time I’m about to pull the trigger something happens and I never end up hitting a shot.

None of ya'll are crazy, or maybe we all are! I have one very similar to this. I just can't seem to ever get my first tee shot off because of limited space. Its freaking miserable.

My only dreams on golf involve chicks in short skirts and night putting.

I haven't had the recurring dreams like you, but have had a few. Then again I don't play anymore.
The first was as a young assistant professional after my Head Pro asked me if I had golf dreams. Up to that point I don't ever recall having one.

I was playing with Nicklaus and Palmer in the U.S. Open. They teed off and then it was my turn. The starter announces my name and I go to tee my ball up, but the tee markers were side by side - no room to tee up or obviously stand. I look at him and he simply says, play away Sir.
Another one was at The Masters and there is wall behind me, so no room to make a backswing.

Mine is that I have a tee time secured at a high profile, really tough to get on golf course (Pine Valley, Winged Foot, Fisher’s Island, it’s different every time) and I keep having travel complications that threaten to cause me to miss the tee time.. flight delay, left my ID at home, lost luggage. I wake up in a cold sweat every time

Yes. Have the same dream. On a teebox sometimes outside sometimes its like im in a carport. Keep re-teeing to have a shot or a backswing.

Never can figure out how to get the shot off

Mine is playing in streets.
Tee up in cracks and try to avoid cars.
Frustrating, but you get a nice roll out!

Me too. Can’t get the tee to stay in and when I do find a spot, there is no room to swing.

Mine is similar. Except instead of there being something impeding my swing, I can’t get the GD ball to stay on the tee. Every time I go to hit it, it falls off. Sometimes I can’t even get it to stay on long enough to get in my stance.

I never have this issue in real life so idk what this says about me.
