No he’s def hot selling fake anything, mizuno rep confirmed he legit got his clubs and they are all real and he doesn’t do any of that stuff. I tried to say that a few times on here but the conspiracy theories kinda ran wild. The issue is he said he was ordering from the manufacturer and couldn’t order just heads, then ordered just heads from someone to get them faster (for my benefit or his it doesn’t matter), he refused to allow a change after 48 hours then said he wouldn’t accept them because he won’t hurt his relationship with his business associate basically.

Mingo, apparently the mizuno rep won’t get the commission when someone in his area buys outside of his area. The rep even mentioned that and he wasn’t upset that buddha did that and he said unfortunately that is something that happens.

The fact that he would get on here and attack a customer screams unprofessionalism. The guy has immense knowledge when it comes to golf clubs but his attitude doesn't always exhibit good business sense.

I think more than anything, he came here to respond to the accusations of using fakes or trying to do this for personal gain. I think he would have been fine letting it pass but I get the urge to respond saying things like the customer ordered something he never hit or was fit in. Buddha messed up there. Obviously. But he brought a little more clarity here for some. Johnny Lawrence summarized well.

Yeah, I’m not sure how that fake club stuff spread like that. He def isn’t doing that. The whole idea of him breaking into someone’s business was kinda ridiculously hilarious though. I’m glad he actually responded although i was ready to let this whole situation rest.

I don’t know who any of these people are, but that response may be shadier than Buddha’s initial incident. I wouldn’t believe a word that rep told you.
Posted on 2/25/21 at 5:31 am to RawDog7984
It got started bc it was a shady story with the Mizuno rep saying he hadn't ordered clubs when he told you he had.
I'm glad Buddha finally commented on the thread, although it was probably a week or so late. I think with the fake clubs allegations, he had to comment because that's a huge deal.
At the end of the day, he may have shitty customer service, but I buy products from companies with shitty customer service regularly.

Well to be clear the rep didn’t say that. The mizuno golf customer service looked up his account and stated he didn’t purchase those clubs from the manufacturer (which he stated he was). He got them from another distributor. His customer service is horrible and to be honest he’s just not very honest. From his stories of some “tour van”, to not being able order just heads, to stating he’ll give me a tracking # when there wasn’t one, even his comment here isn’t very accurate. But like you stated, his customer service is crap and his ethics are imo as well. But he def isn’t getting fake stuff and selling it and he is about as knowledgeable as it gets. I’m a bit different and i won’t do business with someone who i can’t trust. But that’s just me.

Seems like all the buddah dude needed to do was so ok we can change the order and return the clubs he ordered. Easy fix and this thread wouldn't even exist.

The issue is that Raw wanted to change his mind and Buddha said no
This is what it boils down to. If I’m a customer dropping two grand on a purchase, unless there were terms and conditions to the contrary, a response of “no” to a request to change my order is unacceptable.
Any excuse about what the data showed, or performance with specific irons, or even the relationship with the rep is irrelevant.

Outsider's opinion after reading this entire thread.
Buddha and the sales rep are both full of shite. Those club heads were coming from somewhere they weren't supposed to come from.
First the sales rep is in trouble according to Buddha's texts to you.
Then the sales rep calls you to smooth things over (so you don't contact Mizuno corporate again). You were receptive to this but, considering if the text messages you posted with Buddha, where you used your fricking wife as a reason you needed tracking, they knew you're a non-confrontational dude.
You were immediately issued a refund after your call to corporate, presumably as required by Mizuno corporate. Why? There was no official order on their books. Was he covering his arse?
He tells you he's buying from Mizuno corp. Then tells you he bought from the Tour Van. Then sales rep says he (Buddah) had to go outside the district for the club heads (why would the rep be involved in this?). Then you get told that you can't get any sort of tracking info. Changing stories multiple times and hiding something as simple as tracking info is typically a pretty good sign that something isn't quite kosher
I'd be curious what Mizuno corporate tells you if you were to call back in.

Two big and undisputed facts stand out here. First, Buddha, via text message, admitted his rep was "in trouble." If the rep was doing the right thing, why would he be in trouble for doing his job which is selling clubs.
Second, and even more suspicious is the refusal to provide the purchaser with a tracking number. There are only a few reasons a merchant would refuse to provide a tracking number to a paying customer and none are good: lied that the goods were ordered, lied where the goods are being shipped from, or lied where the goods are being shipped to.
Buddha has the knowledge just lacks the ethics, morals and honesty.

This also had me cocking my head to the side.
There's NO reason for a retailer to not provide you with this if they say the order has, indeed, been shipped.

You can't beat your wife in golf?
Posted on 2/26/21 at 10:24 am to LSUballs
Probably the only thing i can beat her at. But to respond to some of yalls comments, yeah, it all seems suspicious and messed up. I did have deep suspicions of the rep at first because when mizuno golf asked me if it was ok for them to include him in what was going on, that’s when Buddha started freaking out snd responding. I did speak to the rep and to be honest i felt that he was being truthful but at this point, i don’t know and really didn’t care much. I’m actually pretty confrontational but the marine corps taught me a couple things. Not every problem requires a hammer but, all problems can be solved by a hammer. I didn’t think being explosive would get me my money back and once i got the money i had the proof that he was just a lying scumbag. Chalked it up to a learning lesson and wanted to tell people my experience over there since he is discussed here regularly.

That's good. I'm stealing it.

I think our man Buddha could clear the air once and for all by answering a few simple question.
1) Why did you initially deny the return?
2) Why no tracking provided?
3) Why did you say the rep was in trouble?
Solid answered to those and Buddha would clear the air.

I have had two fittings with Buddha. Driver and irons. I intend to have another in a few months.
I was disappointed to hear this story and it is very different from my experience with Buddha. I was similarly indecisive with my iron purchase. It was a big move for me to move from Mizuno blades to P790s but it’s what I needed and was the right move for me (I’m just not as good as I once was). But I was indecisive about the decision. I took about 4 weeks after my fitting to continue to research, weigh options and hit clubs. In that time, I called Buddha several times and got additional
Info and opinions. He really just presented info and options and did not pressure a decision. And honestly I felt he went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable with my decision. That is why the story in this thread is surprising to me.
