Have a family member that wants to join somewhere to play and to entertain clients, what is the best from course conditions to amenities in your opinions?

How much is he looking to spend and how important are these clients? There’s a really wide range of clubs / memberships in that stretch.
ETA: I can’t speak for the nicer BR clubs but I would guess Metairie Country Club is going to be tough to beat. Very nice course, great area, and can take the clients on a short drive to some really good drinking / dining after.

Two of those clubs will be a flat no when you state you are joining to bring clients.

CCL is going to go through a huge renovation and will be back to one of the best after.

Nice track but not the best for entertaining clients.

Uclub - great track. Nice facilities. Great pool etc. I know folks will say you can’t get tee times. But Tuesday thru Thursday is very doable. And can get times on the weekend. Just not as flexible. Plus have Corporate membership level.

I was told they now have over 1,200 members and the security gate sucks.

17,500 initiation, 600/momth, and you are limited to 4 rounds a month but no F&B minimums.

Is it 4 rounds/month period or 4 weeknd (fri, sat, sun) rounds per month?

I don’t know his budget but I believe it will be enough to consider any club. These clients will be doctors that he will want to entertain.

MCC is not accepting new members.

I would guess that only CCL & UClub would entertain new members. The rest likely have significant wait list for new membership

They just started a waitlist at MCC this month. You can apply and if accepted, get on the waitlist. Initiation fees are also going up.
