we're in mandeville, looking for recs on a nice course in the biloxi area........or anywhere in a 50-75 mile radius of mandeville.

The Preserve - always in phenomenal shape
Shell Landing - awesome, nasty greens with super fun complexes
Windance - underrated great golf course
Grand Bear - great secluded track 6 miles deep into the forest
The Oaks - nothing special, but usually in good shape
Diamondhead - 2 quality courses
The Bridges - very fun layout, unsure of current conditions

Me and my buddies are doing a golf weekend there next weekend. Playing the Bridges Friday morning on the way to Biloxi. Casino Friday night. Then grand bear and the oaks Saturday.

Wyndance

The answer to the OP is

Fallen Oak (closed Aug 16-Sept 2)
Preserve

Shell/GB/WINDANCE

Oaks/Diamondhead/Bridges

Etc….. this gets asked a lot and this order isn’t changing anytime soon…

Grand Bear was fricking great, Windance was nice too. I played both this past weekend.

We have a group of 16 and we do a Ryder cup tournament over 3 days and 72 holes.

Quick question regarding Fallen Oak - say two of us are staying at the casino one night to play the course the next day. Could we book a tee time for four people, and have two people not staying at the casino play with us?

I would assume so, you could add them to your room as guests to make sure they're registered with the Beau

Appreciate it. Turns out it doesn't matter anyways, the one night we are staying at the Beau there is tournament the next two days. Talk about great timing.....

Guess we will just have to sub in Shells landing. Playing the Preserve and Grand Bear for the other two rounds.

You won’t be disappointed in shell landing. My favorite course in that area. Really fun place to play and well kept.
