Charlie Woods is playing in notah begays event at Coushatta next weekend and tiger will be on the bag. Might feel a little weird going to watch 14 and 15 year olds play. But I think it be worth it to see the goat.

Check out their Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster. $500 for a 3 day pass.

I don't think they let spectators watch last year. Maybe the high price is to keep spectators who are actually interested in watching golf and not Tiger.

Curious who carries the bag. Certainly worth it to have tiger on course, but would suck to have to carry your own bag.

Maybe tiger’s doing better and can make it work for three days.

Unless it is an USGA event, the only people out there will be:

Players
Family
College coaches scouting
Some media
Tournament staff
Golf course staff

USGA junior am will have spectators.

Yeah sure, no one will be out there watching TW’s son. He’s not asking if a typical junior tournament has spectators. This is unique.

This tournament is the only junior tournament that I have heard of that doesn't allow spectators.

Ok, so I'm the marketing guy at Coushatta.

Yes, spectators are allowed this year, for the first time. We talked for a long time about getting them to provide tickets available for the public, and they finally agreed to provide a very limited amount for the boys and girls. They are really keeping it limited to test some things before next year- there are some pretty big plans that they have.

As far as who is on the bag for Charlie, the plan is that it will be Tiger, as we are having to prepare for it on our side. All players can have a parent caddy; most choose to. Tiger and a few additional caddies have medical clearance to use a cart, golfers must walk.

Any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Still weird that someone would go watch a junior golfer - creepy in fact

And going to watch TW caddie for his son is even more messed up - let the guy be a dad

I know this is facetious, but.....

This year? No. I had a very limited supply that was gone in about the first 30 minutes I had them. The ones on sale belong to the tournament, we are just selling for them.

As for who wants to watch the kids? Well, a lot of people do. Last year, we averaged a call a minute to our golf shop trying to see how they could watch. Some of these kids are highly recruited by colleges, a few have played PGA events the same year they play this tournament.

I find it depressing. A 16 year old won the long drive tournament last year with a 350+ yard drive. Granted, I don't golf often, but it shows just how bad I am. Ha!
