Able to have league play. Course allowed individual carts. 3 1/2 hours rounds are nice!

38-39 this morning at Pelican Point Lakes. Walked with a buddy in 3 hours. 5 bogeys and a double. Lots of easy tap in pars, just couldn’t get any birdie putts to fall.

89 at Golfcrest country club yesterday. Could not find a fairway all damn day, mastered the punch out though.

First time seeing someone in my group get hit with a ball too. Square in the back of the head from someone's errant drive, and it sounded like it bounced off a tree. Stayed on his feet and finished walking the round, couldn't believe how well he shook it off.

52/44 for a 96 at Greystone. I had 38 putts, which I think is the most I've ever had since keeping track of them. I never learned to putt on sand

They punched or they are in bad shape? Was hoping to get out there this weekend.

The course isn't in bad shape overall. And today was $45 so they've knocked a bit off the price for the greens I'm assuming

Had myself, one of our other assistant pros and my soon to be 92 year old stepfather out at Walden on Lake Conroe in Houston area. We played tips, my stepdad played the red, all 3 rounds in the 70s. The 851st time my stepfather has shot his age or below.  I'd kill to have his game at his age.

89 at Bayou DeSiard. Teed off at 730 to beat the rain. Was done by 1015.

Highlight - stick it to 2 feet on 15. Made putt.
Lowlight -triple bogey with no penalty shots the hole before.

Shot 83 yesterday at Pelican Point Lakes. Had no idea which way the ball was going off the tee. Hooks and blocks all day. 4 balls hit in water or woods. Finally bombed one straight on 18 that led to a birdie and some confidence.

78 today at the same course. 3 doubles, 2 of which were due to unfortunate plugged fairway bunker lies and the other was a hook into water. 3 other bogeys and another birdie on 18. Hit the ball much better today off the tee which led to more greens hit.

Just glad to get two rounds in this weekend when the weather forecast didn’t look very promising.

Cypress Bend (Toledo Bend)
43-44 - 87

Only hit 4 Fairways and 2 GIR but had 28 putts.
Really hit the ball like crap but scrambled well.
Course was in decent condition.
Greens were slow/grainy but rolled fairly true.
Pretty nice day with the weather and an enjoyable round even though I played like shite.

Walden on Lake Conroe

I love those holes on/over the lake there.

I used to be a member at Northgate and we had reciprocal there.

I believe Walden has been opening up some tee times to the public recently. I need to get out there.
