84 at the Golden Nugget course with 3 birdies. Lost a couple balls in long whispy grass in the waste areas that really hurt the score. Course was in good shape. Greens were rolling quick and true. However, I definitely don't think it's worth the rack rate of $170 or whatever, but if you can get a comped round or discount it's worth it.

Side Note: Lost balls in waste areas should have local rules to be played as lateral hazards imo. Stroke and distance is too penalizing

Highest score in probably 5 years, 95 at Oakbourne. Course per usual is "primo"

Course is so nice, but is brutal if you are playing like crap. Miss a green and you're pretty dead. Cant wait to play there again. Need to book lessons, I have completely lost it off the tee

38-41 = 79 at National in Westlake

Course was "meh"... greens were punched a few weeks ago and still had some sand on them. Lots of resodded places on and around the greens.

I did have a hole out for Eagle on #4 from 158 with an 8-iron. Not much better than walking up to the green with your wedge/putter because you didn't see your ball... Only to see a ball mark 6" in front of the flag.

I always say "check the hole" when I can't find one in the fluffy grass on the fringe... it's never in there but this time it was.

Played 3 of the Barton Creek courses 2wks ago.

Canyons: tough track with lots of elevation changes and some demanding tee shots. It’s the hardest of the 4. I shot 82.

Crenshaw: easiest course imo. Generous fairways and nice big greens. Shot 77.

Foothills: by far the best course there. If you haven’t played it then do so. Beautiful layout with elevation as well. I shot 78 with a double on 18. (Was in middle of fairway with 108yds into the green. Shanked my SW. ??)

76 from Tiger tees Uclub

Played back side first 37/39. Made two stupid bogeys on the front 9 and got stuck behind some jackass 3some that wouldn’t let me play through. Waited on every shot from 5-9. Really, really pissed me off which led to the two stupid bogeys on 8 & 9

Tiger Tees? They usually never have the tee markers over there. 76 is balling from those tees.

They never do per the starter but just walk on back. He was confused as I tee off next to the practice tee.
Had a double take on the tee marker on 3. 671 yards. Driver, 3w, 7i. I barely made it to the fairway

87 at Cypress Lakes in Cypress, Texas.

Really enjoyed the course. Greens almost fully recovered from a recent punch and will be rolling quick when they do.
