Morikawa, Patrick Reed, Jason Day, and JT trying to take themselves out of contention early on.

While fun to watch, a little hokey.

Heard them talking about it.. apparently you have to carry it 240 to land the green.. I'm guessing most will be using 3 or 4 iron.. possibly a wood for the shorter hitters..

The course looks like a homeless camp. This “green” trend of letting the native grasses take over bunkers, rough and OB areas is gross. Sure, it saves money on watering, mowing, chemicals and labor but looks terrible.

There was a very limited ticket release bc of the club and the space to have large crowds

I'm absolutely hammering bets on Cam Smith to rocket up the leaderboard today.

Sam Burns is another one I think will make a move.

The course showed yesterday what they're going to do and how much harder it's going to play for later tee times so am I am honing on guys around and outside of the top ten.

I don't think he'll be the third round leader but he's 6 back right now and I think he'll be less than 3 back from whoever is in the lead by the time we head to the final round.

It they don't get any rain, the next two days are gonna be pretty brutal. You could see late yesterday that some really great shots will wind up over the greens.

Course definitely played up to its top 20 standards late yesterday when a lot of studs were in the course having a tough time. It will be a great test of golf this weekend and has definitely brought an amazing group to the top of the leaderboard.

Xander somehow made bogey after hitting fairway bunker, then 3 to get out of it.

He could have made 8 or more easily.

The course looked tough to me.
I know it gave up the pair of 62s, but I think the perfect conditions allowed for that. Scores look fairly normal.

I really like the short par 3.

Why such a late tee off? It was pretty dark last night when finishing up. Looks like Sunday tee times are a bit earlier. Hope they don't have a playoff.
