I had a set back before I had my Srixons. They are sweet clubs.

Hit them but didn't care for them. The heads felt super heavy but thats pretty consistent with all Apex heads. Just were not for me. I'm sure they are great clubs. Went with Srixon.

Happy with my Cobra King Tours, which finished 3rd in their rankings.

Shocked the ZX7 finished so low with all the rave by testers especially with some questionable clubs above them. To each their own though.

I’m not a Callaway guy but I’m becoming one. The apex pros are phenomenal irons and i hate the new hollow body trend. But they have the look and feel of a legit players iron. My buddy plays them and they are really hot off the face. Offset isn’t bad and top line is tolerable for sure. I’d personally prefer the TCB but the pros are legit. Callaway is doing some phenomenal things.

I wish I could hit blades. They are sweet when you strike just right. Maybe someday. My iron set are Callaway Rogues.

Its because My Golf Spy is not really independent like they say. All these irons are good, it really is an individual thing when it actually comes down to it.

Just put them in the bag. You will eventually hit them well.

I think you get better faster hitting blades or players irons. There is just so little feedback in big giant game improvement irons. Off-center hits feel almost the same as a good hit. With a blade you know almost instantly if the strike was off center.

Don't tempt me. I got close to purchasing blades in the 2000-aughts but I stopped playing and pursued other hobbies. At the time I didn't want to give up 5-6 shots a round learning how to play with clubs with less forgiveness. I'm just now playing again regularly after about a dozen years of not playing consistiently. Used to be a single mid handicapper, so on the cusp of blades I suppose. Currently I'm an 11 with no short game off the green. From the blues not the tips.

How do you have a "Players Test" and not include the Blueprints ?

I’d assume blueprints would fall under some sort of blade category because no blades on are that list. But I don’t really follow mygolfspy at all so I could be wrong.

Here’s 2 important things that MGS doesn’t test… how they look to me and how they feel to me. And my Mizunos beat out these for that.

The apex pros aren’t blades.

Feel is so subjective it would be impossible to accurately rate it.

They do account for sound tho.

I’ve got the combo set... played with them 1 time and hated them... giving them a go again this weekend. If I don’t hit them well this weekend I will just sale them and wait for the new T200.
