I'm wondering how much I could scrape together selling my old 360, 120 GB HD, 20 GB HD, and wireless receiver towards purchasing this new thing.
Also, bluray never really enticed me like it seems to everyone else. I never purchase DVDs anymore and I stream/netflix 99% of what I watch. I'm sure the bump in image quality is MARVELOUS, but I'm not losing any sleep over it.

Gamestop offered me $75 for my 60GB, wireless controller, and 2 year old Xbox. I would get another $25 if I bought the new console from them. For that I am just keeping my current one even when I buy the new one.

I suspected that they would shaft me. I'll likely do the same or go the Ebay route. I need to transfer the data off my HD before I get rid of my current system anyway.

You know they lowered the price on all the old systems out yesterday? The arcade version is now $140 brand new. It will hurt the Ebay market too.

Suppose what I'm saying is that I'll actively seek out whatever market screws me less and take that avenue. I'm sure I'll get sufficiently screwed no matter what, but that's usually how it goes.
ETA: Or I may keep it as a DVD player for another room. That's also an option, I haven't really thought this plan out too much. I doubt I'll be grabbing one of these new ones immediately.
