It's like the one dude always says, "Get Woke, go broke".
Many and many companies continue to pander to the tarts who don't buy video games, and in the end, give the middle finger to their base, and the base says, hey, there are more games out there, F U.

I never thought something like an overabundance of female soldiers in a game would have such a negative impact on my buying the game but once they did it set during WW2 I was done. I'm kind of proud of myself that it bothers me to the point where i won't buy it. I grew up playing DoD and watching saving private Ryan and band of brothers and my grandfather was drafted and fought against the Japanese. It's such an amazing time period to me and I know a decent amount about WW2 and this game is truly an abomination and disrespectful.

You would think companies would learn from the Star Wars debacle.
Disney had the biggest sheep fan base, got woke, and the Star wars nerd said FU. Star wars fans throw money at anything affiliated with the genre, but many got back bones and shoved it up Disneys wazoo.
DC and Marvel are very close to feeling the wrath of their fan bases, with their Woke bullshite. Especially those video Marvel puts out with their actors pandering to the liberal voters. Marvel even put out another one for the Nov.8th election, and tried to be cute and funny, and play a dirty, sexual angle, about your first time.
People in this country are tired of the PC bullshite, for once they are yelling back

The original backlash was dumb, DICE's response to it was just as dumb, but let's be realistic about why this is failing. No one wanted another period shooter, there was a lot of fatigue from BF1. BFV reviewed pretty good because it's actually a good shooter. But we just didn't want WWII, and BLOPS 4 delivered on a good modern shooter. It's easy to point at the SJW angle, but none of that is even present in the MP, which is all that anyone plays these games for. I didn't play whatever the campaign is, so I can't speak to that. Any "outrageous" character creations you see in MP is just someone trolling you guys.

The funny part is, you and everyone else has 100% control over if you’re male or female in the game. all you have to do is just change your character to male and poof. No more females.
Oh, and I promise you won’t know the difference between killing a male or a female as a tank at 100 yards
Oh, and there were a shite ton of female fighters in wwii btw. Figured you’d know that as a “history buff” ever heard of the Russians? The commies sent women to the front line no problem.

I may have purchased the game to play the BR, but the MP is stale to me, so I didn't. If the BR is good, I may play the game in 2019. I have a feeling more people fall into this category than people who are outraged over a female soldier being in their video game.
