Will we ever get a proper Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask remake?

I’m talking about remastered graphics and a reworked controller scheme that makes the game easily playable via a Switch/Pro controller.
OoT and Majora’s Mask are two of the best video games of all time (I would posit they are the Zelda series’ absolute apex), and it’s a damn shame we haven’t gotten a proper remaster for the Switch.
Man, to go back and play it for the first time again. Good times.

If they did a basic remaster and added a post-game roam mode (the original game literally freezes on a frame at the end) that let you run around in a restored world (nothing really added, just what it was like before it got all dark and shite) continuing to collect thing, do the mini games, etc, I would pay them $60 without batting an eye.
I would be a little wary of a full remake, but what you've described would probably be fine.

They did pretty much all they could with OOT and Majoras Mask on the 3DS. I can’t imagine it will get much better than that. It’s one reason I’m glad Nintendo is done with the bullshite handheld devices. They would announce amazing shite like “LUIGIS MANSION 2! THE NEXT EXCITING ZELDA AND KINGDOM HEARTS GAMES! All exclusively on the 3DS”.

The year is 2031. Nintendo is about to announce the Switch 3.5, with PS4 pro level graphics.
With it, they announce Mario Kart 8 with two new maps, and up-res'd OoT and Majora's mask, each for a low price of $79.99.
Additionally, Bethesda/MS announces a newly upgraded version of Skyrim for $79.99.

I’d love for a reimagined Majora’s Mask using Breath of the Wild’s engine. Add four more lands, three more transformation masks (Rito, Mogma, and Wolf), make the map 2/3 the size of Hyrule (ie Skyrim), and 80 shrines, could be fantastic.
