I was never particularly great but it would be either Halo 5 (warzone) or MW3.

Definitely Quake 2. I was absolutely murderous in that game, mostly because I spent basically all my time playing it. I was pretty rad at the original Halo, too. My ex-girlfriend’s brother and his friend used to play that game competitively and liked to brag about how good they were, so one day I took them on 2 vs 1 and schooled the shite out of them. Good times.

I’ve always sucked at FPS. Love halo but will always be a .500 player. I have a buddy that went semi pro in halo 2 and it’s almost not even fun playing online with him and his Canadian friends. I know I’m just bringing the team down while they go 20-2, they’re cool about it though but I still feel like a fool
I wasn’t nationally ranked or anything but mine would probably be the original StarCraft. Had a record of something like 212-20 or something. Was a beast with Protoss, dragoons ftw

FIFA by far since I made it to division one on 17 as I would just drink red bull and wreck everyone especially in the online world cup mode.

DotA 2. It was always pretty instinctual what I should be doing and when. I got up to a high MMR with a relatively small time investment.

Super Smash Bros. 64
2nd would be Melee.
I don’t play the new versions.

Probably Overwatch back in my heyday. I could singlehandedly take over games with Tracer up until Master. Could still play in Master, but I didn't dominate unless I had a strong team

Halo 3 was that game for me.
My old roommate would make highlight videos on YouTube and we constantly had people asking to join our team. Non stop.
Then we would do tournaments in doubles and run shite.
I don’t have the time to get that good on anything else but the call off duty games I can usually pick up and run with pretty easily. But nothing like halo 3.

It’s between Rocket League and CSGO. I get accused of hacking a lot in CSGO even though I have a prime account.

If it's a fighting game its hands down Street Fighter 4.
From 2010 to 2012 I was ranked #1 in the world with Vega on xbox 360. Not that I was the #1 player at SF, but with that certain character I had accumulated more battle points with that character against other players on live from around the world, than anyone else at that time.
That was that only game I can say I was ever truly addicted to. Most of my friends people on xbox live were from Japan. I found that they brought the best. And I unsoberly always wanted to play with them, because that was how you stayed sharp, against the best who took it seriously. I had a notebook of tips against every character on that game that I barely remember even writing. I memorized it though, and it became a sorta SF4 bible. I loved that we didnt have to know each other's languages, the fight was communication enough. The ones that could understand couldnt believe I was using just the d pad. Knowing your character is an absolute must, has to be 1st nature.. but learning how great players use other characters had to be the main focus. The trends people used during a fight.
I was dealing with horrible addictions and deaths during that time in life. I am fortunate enough that I had my house paid off, same with my vehicle and enough saved for all else. So yeah, I dove deep into that and tried to avoid and escape everything. Cocaine, xanax, ambien and a lot of pot..time passed like crazy. Was obsessed with remaining on top, till I burnt out and just walked away from it. Got some swag, that's about all.

I feel a certain way when I play that game now, clean from all that except pot. Was honestly like the Ludovico Technique from a clockwork orange in ways.
