Thought of another one. Minion's tank in Twisted Metal.

You were my bitch every time if I was in the Toadmobile.

Can't believe I didn't immediately think of these bad boys:

It didn't have weapons, so that's obviously limiting in some respects, but as far as not feeling like it was an absolute chore to drive, I think my favorite is the Nomad from Mass Effect: Andromeda.

The Warthog is probably the most iconic but it flips over way too easily.
I second the Borderland vehicle. It can be fully used by one or two players unlike the warthog, it had rechargeable shielding, boosters, and was very maneuverable.

This was half the fun in it though!

I enjoyed the gyrocopter in Pilotwings 64.

I enjoyed driving and upgrading the vehicle in Mad Max and the ship in Black Flag.

Gotta be this bad boy, especially after Dalton tricks it out:

Have you played the remaster on Switch?

Yes, on PS4. I don't like that they added talking but I think they did a nice job with it otherwise. I especially like the way the second game gets a little stranger in its environments.
I stopped playing Zero 2 after encountering a difficult boss months ago, however, and haven't returned to the game. I should pick it back up.

Either I missed the post or everyone here is overlooking the classic. Spy Hunter was the best that inspired all great game vehicles to follow

Used to play semi-competitive Mario Kart DS back in the day. Always snaked with the Dry Bomber:
The Egg 1 was always a solid option as well, but I gotta go with the Dry Bomber. My fav video game vehicle by far.
