Four month old is still kicking my arse. It’s not that I don’t have the time; I just don’t have the bandwidth. Best I can get myself to do is read or listen to an audiobook.

One day I’ll get back to it

Bouncing back and forth between Pax Dei and Project Zomboid (a buddy from work is hosting a server and a few of us play, I probably play the most often).

Just finished Control Resonant as of about 30 minutes ago.

I really enjoyed it. Does a good job of setting itself apart from the original while still being very much a part of that world.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like all the changes, but it got its hooks into me quickly. I initially thought it was a puzzling choice to shift from Jesse and it's magic/gun centric gameplay to a more melee focused game centered around Dylan. But I really started to like Dylan and they do some cool stuff with his character.

How would you compare it to the others in the series?

I'm really not a big FF guy. I played the OG FFVII back in the day, but that's about it.

I tried the FFXV demo because I watched Kingsglaive on Netflix, and FFXV and XVI are two completely different games in terms of style, combat, layout, etc.

FFXVI is very much a stand-alone single person sequel to FFXIV Online if you've played. UI is the same, dominants/eikons are the same, feel is the same. Stories aren't related at all, but if very much feels like the same game in a different setting. Dominant fights are fun as hell, and the game is beautiful.

I updated my Xbox and redownloaded The Witcher 3 for the remaster. In the week before the it came out I fired Red Dead 2 up again and haven't stopped playing it.

Also found and bought a complete box set of the original NES Metroid at my nearby game store.

Will be booting it up and trying for the under 1 hour run.

Been playing a bunch of Metroid. I had only played the original and Super up until a few months ago. Finished Zero Mission, Fusion, and Prime Remaster. Playing Prime 4 now and will play Dread next.

Nice!

I’m not looking for a PSA 10. I just think would be a cool shelf piece for my office.

Appreciate the link.

Not like I’m looking to make money off of it.

Just a hobby.

Maybe my kids or, hell, my grandkids will like playing them one day if I can keep them in working order.

Got some good memories of playing my grandpa in Dr. Mario on his NES and him resoundingly beating my arse.

Tarkov. Kind of addicted currently. Learning the game etc. love how atmospheric and detailed it is. Has its flaws but I’m having fun and have no regrets.

Need to get back into this. Hell I got the EOD edition, so I have the single player mode or whatever now. Might say frick it and hop back in.

Ive been swapping between hell let loose nam and ace combat 8.
