I'd like to go a bit back in time in the same world and truly experience the wild west again, but this time build up your own gang and let the player decide if you're going to be ruthless murdering outlaws or somewhat benevolent swindlers. Make a gang, recruit some members, establish a hideout, interact with the world.

Well you have another 4-5 years to present your ideas to Rockstar.

Complete open world. Rob banks, Rob trains, cattle rustling, etc. exact other side of the coin, own businesses, join a posse to catch people, be a sheriff’s deputy.

This was kind of what I was hoping for out of RDR Online but it would have to be an entire game focused around this

Purchasable prostitues

More intense weapon/character customization

Set in California (1848-1855), Gold Rush years. Lots of cut throat action, ways to get rich and a step away from "the dutch gang". Start out with a Colt model 1848..

The news of gold brought approximately 300,000 people to California from the rest of the United States and abroad. Imagine the greed it brought..and imagine that, with the already existing native population surrounding and overall dangers that we lost to history in an area that wasn't even a state yet.

Make it the true wild west, lead character has the feel of the man with no name. In true western revenge..make him a former Reverend who lost his family to murder on the trek to bring Jesus to the people of the west, and God wasnt there when he begged..or just a man who lost his wife and children during a winter because he was a poor dirt farmer from Minnesota and couldn't afford to keep them alive, a-hole banker took advantage of him and took everything...etc.

Either way, never again. And don't get in his way type of shite

Get rid of the survival aspects and weird gameplay mechanics and make it more like the first one.

If keeping it within the Vanderlins go the route of another prequel beginning with Dutch leaving home and meeting Hosea.

If another group I’m not exactly sure. I’m not sure they should even make that game it would be walking uphill the entire time.

Your post got better and better but still chuckling that your top priority is buying hookers

At any rate, yes I think the Dutch gang story has been perfectly told. I'd like a fresh story.

This is a fine line; maybe make it optional like they did with Skyrim's survival mode mods and inclusion with anniversary edition.

Playing the first one after playing RDR2 does make you appreciate the simplicity of some of the mechanics.

if we do id say yes, go back in time and have little to do with current gang.

1 and 2 told a pretty complete story so id say we really dont need another one. Essentially give us another cowboy game rockstar, but it doesnt have to be "red dead".

I was going to say being able to buy prostitues or at least animal options.

In honor of that speech during the church scene in Blazing Saddles.

Build your own gang, but I'd really like to see a way to turn off the survival aspect. I like hunting and such, but the need to constantly eat and everything else gets annoying.

Would be cool if there were multiple characters, GTAV style, one good and one bad

Not interesting enough, and it's time to move on.

Like what mafia 3 tried to do, but actually succeeded where they failed.

Agree that everything connected to 1 & 2 has been perfectly told.

I really like completely open concept with the ability to get as big or stay as small as you like. Want to make the biggest gang in the West and post up in a fort and be a constant target for the law, bounty hunters, and rivals? You got it.

Want to be a lone wolf and sleep under the stars in a tent every night in a different spot? All you

Want to be the arbiter of frontier justice and become sheriff of a town? You can do that to.

Is what I'm thinking of technically possible? It's gotta be.
