650ti could do dayz?
I didn't buy a gaming keyboard or mouse, just a wireless mouse and keyboard better suited for my needs
I need to add you on Skype once I get myself situated again

Yea it will do DayZ.
You don't need any advance mouse or keyboard for Dayz either.
My skype is stouts1332

cool. I'll plug in my graphics card tomorrow night and hit you up.
I really felt the computer nerd come out in me last Friday when I was excited about my Friday night PC rebuilding instead of going and getting drunk

Once you start upgrading and fooling with it all it's like smoking crack. You can't stop.

Its pretty fun, and there is no drunk sidbarret to fastplant on round2 of demolition when I went 9-0 and had a vsat saved from round1 so that's a major plus for me

yeh, i've got plans to upgrade slowly. not to some of you guys level, but so i've got a good pc for low end games if i get burnt out on xbox or my fran pevy isn't playing.
things on the list for the next 3-6 months:
> new case: mine is a POS. ex-girlfriend broke the plastic window side panel last year. it's just sucking in dust and dirt now.
> from HD to SSD: pull everything from my small 250GB HD onto the 2 TB HD's I have. Simply OS & games on the future SSD .
> power supply.
> then mobo
while i've assembled all this IT brain power in one thread. i got another project handed to me unfortunately.
long story short: grandmaw. lives in sticks. getting to "that age". can't be trusted alone. would cost $25k a year to hire full time sitter.
my pops, aunts, and uncles have tasked me with pricing the equipment, installation, and running a small security system.
essentially 4 cameras to watch her and proactively prevent her from climbing cabinets and swinging from chandalers.
i'm thinking they will need a mobile hotspot or have ethernet run out there. 4 web cameras.....frick i don't know.
does anyone know where i should start?

Mine isn't on the level of some of the guys here but it plays anything I want it to. I do love my new 8350 8 core though

You can find this one for $40 usually
Not sure how much you want to spend on one. It's not top of the line but at least it's powder coated inside and out. I hate silvr interiot in a case.

OCz Vertex 3 or 4. You can find some good deals on them and they tops.

Tigerdirect, Amazon, Sam's, Newegg all sale pre-made DVR systems with cameras that allow you to monitor them over an internet connection. I had one I installed when I owned my gas station. It had 12 cameras.

I hate push to talk
You can set mic sensitivity so push to talk isn't needed. Think push to talk is the way to go because it keeps background noise out.
