This is a made for Sora adventure.
Stage one: make a story where the only thing standing between a former slave and the white’s only brothel are the KKK. Make the slave look like Erkel and the white womenz are dimensioned like old school Lara Croft.

I wonder if a game like this would damage Grant's legacy. By removing credit from him, I mean.
As corrupt as his admin was, the one major win he had was his utter demolishing of the KKK.
He sent the military in, Trump-Style, and wrecked those frick-stains so thoroughly that they would not show their face again until "Birth of a Nation."
I am hoping for same with Antifa.

I don’t know about grant. But after channeling my inner Houser brother, I see a final boss who’s dripping with satire….His name is Harry Sisson, the ultimate pimp boss, and he’s decked out in a KKK jumpsuit made of spandex and uses a cane made of adamantium.

There are about a dozen printings of Grant's own memoirs to read, just know it is an obviously biased source
Foner has a few Reconstruction books. They are solid, but again you have to account for his being an lefty activist. Sometimes it seeps into his narrative
Klan War: Ulysses S. Grant and the Battle to Save Reconstruction is a pretty good take on Grant destroying the Klan
The Mises Institute has a good lecture series that also covers reconstruction

Regardless the recent AC games haven't given me much hope even if they went through with it. If this was the Ubisoft that did Black Flag and III it probably would have been a solid game

The problem is Ubisoft wouldn’t be historically accurate and be used as pure propaganda. The main villain probably being named Donald or some shite.
