I'm with you. I don't have the time to dedicate to "git gud" to one MP game. I was pretty good at TLOU for a while, but it got a little boring. Once I left and came back, I was in noob mode. Not worth getting destroyed by some Pakistani 12 year old who teabags me.

Of all genres, I am the farthest removed from MOBAs. Built a League of Legends rig for a friend, and he showed me the ins and outs of the game, and I just... hated it all.
I'm firmly a mainstream action/adventure + FPS gamer, also dabbling in RPGs that employ enough action/adventure gameplay elements to be fun.

You know, Borderlands didn't really do it for me, either. It wasn't bad or anything, just didn't get into it like others.
Mario has run its course with me. They were great when I was a kid, but I'm over it. Can't remember the last Mario game I played. I think it was Super Mario Galaxy and I didn't play it long. It's not that I "don't like" the series, I just no longer GAS.

ETA: Assassin's Creed...I can't stand it, which is weird because I love stealth games (MGS, Hitman, Splinter Cell). I don't know what it is about the series that turns me off so bad.

World of Warcraft, Minecraft, Fallout, Zelda, 2D action/Metroidvania platformers (castlevania, metroid, mega man, etc).
I can still appreciate how good they are in their own way, just don't have much fun playing them.
