Is there an exotic armor limit like there is for weapons

I've been waiting for this piece to roll around, opens up a second grenade slot and gives extra ammo inventory as both other passives. The second grenade slot is clutch.

For exotics, it's 1 Weapon and 1 Armor allowed.

Ok, I thought it would be worth it, just wanted to be sure before getting it. Think I am going to try with the exotic engram first to see if I get lucky and then buy it with coins if I don't.
Another question concerning the Exotic Fusion Rifle Bounty. Is there anyone else who has a chance to sell rare fusion rifles other than the weaponsmith? I don't have the bounty yet but figure I will go ahead and stock pile 10 so when the time comes I can knock it out really fast without waiting.

Purchasing upgrades on your gear increases the amount of light awarded by the gear thus increasing your level.

I just hit 28 with an exotic helm fully upgraded, and the rest legendary upgraded to the point where you have to use shards. (I think I may have done one shards upgrade on my legendary gloves)

Once you get legendary gear on all slots and possibly exotic, you need to level them up further using ascendent shards.

Im working on this as well. Ive gotten about half from the crucible and the other half doing tiger strikes. You have to get pretty lucky (I haven't been) with the gunsmith selling rare fusions.
I only need one more fusion to break down.

I find myself hesitant when upgrading the shard upgrades being I want to make sure that it is a piece of equipment I will continue to use for a bit.
