Yea shield brothers sucked. We actually didn't have much trouble with Mr. McDickface. Stayed spread out he went down pretty quick.

I'm always interested in raiding, I've never done any of the raids. I have to grind up though, I'm only level 356.

FWIW, I held my own in wrath of the machine at 357 and I'm definitely a casual player. The whole group was below 365 and if we had figured out the mechanics before it got too late we would have beaten it. You need to be able to deal out damage, but technique trumps light level. Light level just makes it go quicker.

I'm casual too, I just lucked out that it has a lot of the same mechanics as Halo 3.
Seriously, the grenades are perfect.
As far as damage goes, Badger CCL is my highest impact primary that's worth a damn, and I use only high impact snipers and shotgun. My hunter is a wuss though, one hundred percent set up for speed and recovery.

Yeah, roaming supers or a smash will make short work but your regular Joe Blueberry whose a Bubble bro with all void weapons doesn't seem to understand that.

Well, the raid is the easiest way.
Otherwise, I think doing challenge of elders and archon's forge both drop good artifacts.
