That I see. ME, not so much. I guess being in space and having a bunch of companions. Brad of Giant Bomb said the screen where you select a "squad" before heading into a mission is straight up ripped from ME.

About to meet someone in a Rouses parking lot to get 60 x Adderall.
I'm going to be locked into this game for 48hrs.

frick I’ve bought 2 games these last few months that I’ve barely started, nier automata and Greedfall so I shouldn’t buy a 3rd just to not have time to play it. All these reviews are making it hard though

So things from other games I don't like
Unbindable actions (surprise I know)
Borderlands art style Devs just taking a cheap way out and not giving an artful beautiful game.
Seems like it's going to be a good game though.

Not every game needs to look the same. Appreciate different styles and don't assume they went that route because it was the easiest.

I don't get the hate for the graphics. I think it looks great. So nice to have a colorful game and not the same dreary miserable gray/brown that 99% of games use.
This is clearly the bastard child of fallout mixed with a touch of borderlands.
Normal difficulty should be called story mode. Too much ammo. Too easy. Hell, even on Supernova the ammunition is plentiful.
I'm 14 hours in but I back track a lot for XP.You could probably get to my same spot in about 4 hours
I had zero interest in playing this game but watching a streamer changed my mind. Mainly because I am sick of dreary colorless games. Figured I needed to pay for this one to show my appreciation.
Glad I gave it a shot. Yes, some folks will think it is going to be a massive Fallout game. It isn't. One other weakness along with being too easy is the limited number of enemies. Maybe more will show up. Maybe I am treating the first area like the Hinterlands and I should be moving along a little quicker.
I feel like the game already paid for the price of admission and I'm cheap and don't often pay for day 1.

It's my deal not everyone's, I have stated my dislike for the borderlands style graphics before. I understand that the budget and buyout were factors and said it seems like the game will be fun, but lets be honest for the same $59.99 Cyberpunk will deliver a lot more and present it much better.

I don't get a bioshock vibe at all. Although I'm still on planet 1 so who knows. It doesn't have to be 2. Evidently, There are 47 genders now so it is the bastard child of Bioshock, Borderlands and Fallout.

I'm all in - really enjoying it so far.
That being said, glad I picked hard over normal. The plasma rifle (don't remember where I got it) mixed with slowing down time is fairly OP.
Made it off of the first planet (I think I did about everything although that could easily be wrong) and found my first science weapon.
