Look, I have no clue, and until we see a final build and actual final info on the story, I won't pass judgement. I agree that what's floating around sounds pretty bad, but let's see what gets released.

What Sony/ND are doing through their proxy company based in India is a clear abuse of DMCA.
They are copyright claiming any videos that are even discussing the existence of leaks. That shite is public domain under any lens. This is blowing up the controversy way beyond "is the game going to suck" all the way to "we as Youtubers must stand our ground on principle because it's us versus this big company looking to squash us". It's roping this whole fiasco into the larger looming issue of navigating copyright law in this digital space. That's a battleground that's been plaguing Youtube for years.
And talk about invoking the Streissand effect. Even people that didn't care about this game are getting exposed to how awful the story is now.
