If the game wasn't so fricking bad for so long I'd be more willing to go along with another 40. But when I feel like I didn't get close to 100 bucks worth of a game another 40 is hard to swallow

I got to max level in Destiny then realized I could put in about a max of 1 day a week's worth of gameplay before being locked out of progressing my character.
I really don't understand weekly caps in games that don't charge a monthly fee.

I believe we should give games a second chance when it's evident that they have fixed a lot of previous issues, but first impressions really matter in the video games industry, especially with a multiplayer game like Destiny.
It is your loss when the playerbase dwindles down and you can't find anyone to play with and Bungie no longer sees providing content as profitable. In no way am I stating Destiny 2 is on that level yet, but I've seen it happen to a large number of MMORPGs.

I bought it on release, and was severely disappointed. There are too many games out there to wait on a developer to fix a game I already spent 60 dollars on.

Destiny 1 was not very good IMHO. It wasn’t bad, but very meh. Most disappointed I have ever been at launch of a game. Maybe it stopped being bad after all the DLC but I was pretty done with it by then.
