The hate towards Destiny 2 is incredible

I havent seen one positive youtube video about this game since launch. Several vids talking about how bad Bungie is fricked ever since they left Microsoft. Can Bungie recover and make a good game again?

I only looked at 3 of them but 2 of them were old and it was shite. It has gotten much much better and the changes coming seem to go in the right direction.
You have to be careful of shock reporters. They only want views. Ali-A is guilty of this but somehow he gets 4m views on his videos.

Well it’s a pretty shitty game.
And this is coming from someone who played D1 throughout the entire cycle of the game and spent $100 to pre-order 2 and never even downloaded the Osiris DLC.
Bungie lies to us, yet again, and they deserve any hate that come their way, IMO. A lot like ‘No Mans Sky’, the devs completely destroyed any trust between them and the playerbase and improving shite, or them even bringing back features that were in D1 and were left out for some reason at launch (heroic strikes, ability to choose strikes from the director, etc..) more than a year later is far too late.
Bungie can suck a dick and I’ll never play D2 again.

It doesn't help destiny 2 that warframe and the division are much better games.
It was a money grab. There was no reason other than money to make destiny 2 rather than continue to improve the first game. They deserve all the hate they get for making such a stupid decision that wasn't in the best interest of the franchise.

What sucks is I think a lot more people would have been cool with it being an obvious money grab if they hadn't straight up ruined some of the best systems they had in place from D1 like crucible matchmaking, weapon slots, and ESPECIALLY movement speed. Looks like the first 2 will be fixed in the next DLC, but I don't understand why they had to screw with the movement mechanics that worked so well in D1 in the first place.
Hopefully they get their shite together for D3

No one is forcing anyone to play a game they don't enjoy. Was it what people wanted at launch? No. They chose to purchase and have a right to their opinion. But to beat this drum endlessly is annoying. If you don't like it, move on. Let the people that enjoy it do so.

Here's a general tip: stop GAF about games you have no interest in playing and let people enjoy what they enjoy.
I mean, the OP did call God of War, probably a shoe in for a majority of GOTY awards, overrated, so I'm already not inclined to lend much credance to his opinion.

No clue if you are even directing this at me lol, but I have stayed out of the D2 thread for a long time. I also don’t spew my ultimately worthless opinion around unless a thread like this comes up.
All of my friends have gone back to D2 since there is pretty much nothing else out at the moment.

This is just such a lazy comeback. There are a lot of games I have no interest in playing that I still enjoy reading/riffing about. Plus, in the case of D2, it's not even true, most of the people bitching wanted the game to be good and had a huge interest in playing.

What annoys me more than anything with destiny 2 right now is I have to drop another 40 bucks on top of the 100 I've already spent
