Because of the scaling it is easier to play solo sometimes as opposed to having shitty teammates.

I hope I am able to solo things by myself with the new patch. I'm anxious to try everything out. Anyone know if the whole farm Bullet King in the DZ is still there post patch?

I like working with other people, it just sucks when you are going through a mission that is minimum lvl 6 with a lvl 5 and lvl 6 person when you are lvl 8 and the other person is lvl 9.
Quit that group. Eventually got all the way through with a different one.
I like all the side missions so far.

I usually solo the missions until I find one where it's almost impossible to beat without some other people. It seems easier to solo most of them.

They had to take down the servers after the patch because
1)bullet King wasn't fixed and had better loot
2) there were zero penalties for going Rogue and massive dz xp for killing rogues, which turned the dz into a death match free for all

I'm just glad I was able to log on and grab the sniper from the advanced weapons vendor right before they went offline. Now I can go to bed and not worry about the reset.

I farmed the bullet king last night for the first and only time.
I now have 85k DPS, 60K Health, 18k Skill power
Caudecus High End AR 85K DPS
First Wave M1A 85K DPS
First wave purple vector with heal on crit & stability 70k DPS
Damascus Pistol and High End Magnum are my sidearms I switch between
I heal 15% health on kill too
I guess I'm ready to try the challenge missions now
I now have 85k DPS, 60K Health, 18k Skill power

Using a weapon talent combination of increased damage from 40m and increased dmg after using a skill...real nice for A pulse build. It's how I was able to solo farm DZ.
The subway in dz02 is scary.
Also I'd just wait for the npcs to begin attacking each other at the Abandoned Gas station then shoot them when they were low from behind
I fear my easy dz xp is gone after today though.

Me and a buddy went for 3 hours before I got it.
Filled up my 50 space backpack 6 times. Have all the gear and weapon mods I could possibly want.

I'm going to try and keep Bullet King alive now that he'll leave forever, but I'm sure some a-hole in one of my matchmaking groups will take him out in my instance.

Finally hit 100k dps last night after my first trip through the dz, it was intense going through there for the first time. Luckily no players showed up during the extraction and we were able to get out without any problems

What is your health and skill power?
EDIT: I ask because I think I have pretty good stats for not having any high end gear at 85k/60k/18k and I'm trying to figure out if I can keep the skill power and health that high and push the DPS closer to 100k somehow

The challenge mission yesterday was fricking impossible. Had a non-rando 4 man crew and we absolutely could not beat the part where you have a timer running down.

If you leave one guy alive while the timer is going down, it'll continue to tick and no more waves will spawn.
Eta: just make sure you don't stand in front of the JTF officer cause they'll shoot at you and hit him.
