Being able to “take” rupees is awesome. They were somewhat of a pain in BOTW.

Still on tutorial island. Built a boat to get across one of the water areas that looked too far to swim. Put both sails on the ground on it because "I'm going to go so fast this way". Watched the boat float away faster than I could swim to catch it and had to leapfrog logs instead. 10/10

Pro tip, because I had it happen to me at first, you can grab it and bring it back with ultrahand.

My holy shite moment with fusing was putting a fire breathing zonai head on a shield and making it a flamethrower.

It really may be the best game ever

The graphics are awful
The framerate is awful, wait till you beat wind temple, it's rocking 10-15fps max
Some of the cutscenes are trash, and most go on for WAY to long
Weapon durability seems even worse than BOTW.

It's a great game, but GOAT. It's standing outside of the house, that has the room, that has the people, discussing GOAT games.

Those are just the bads, having a great time anyway. ***Just noticed it saved my horses from BOTW, oh that's awesome.

Please let me know if you can fast travel somewhere and still call your horse or will it say the horse is too far away to hear you?

So friggin dumb.

It's not the Witcher but it can be annoying when there's no stable around.

Also, I'm getting my arse kicked on the second monster raid party. Those tri-horn frickers kill you with one hit.

After I did the shrine by the Temple of Time that unlocked the attach ability, ghost dude had me pull out the slate and place markers on the other 2 shrines in the area.

I found one in the distance, but I haven't found a third shrine yet.

The 3rd one took me a few minutes to find, but it was off in the distance as well.

I’m the Wiley coyote of hyrule.

Devising elaborate schemes with all manner of devices and failing to execute on every single plan.

This thread is no spoilers? What is the definition of spoiler in this context? I've done like 3 quests, but exploring the depths has been FANTASTIC so far. Loving it. The weapon combination mechanic is also stealing the show.

I found a pretty awesome weapon and shield by exploring the depths that I'm fairly certain I shouldn't have yet. Was going to explain how to get there but I don't know if that's a spoiler.

I think spoilers are generally considered main plot points, but it's going to be important to talk about the game without giving up at least a little of story.

Use your better judgement. Avoid stuff like "I just killed the guy who gives you the boomerang, who would have thought he was a bad guy" type of stuff.

Cool. In that case, if you're just exploring like me and totally procrastinating on the plot, I found a pretty nice sword and shield set for early game.

Captain III Reaper sword (45 power) and Mighty Zonaite Shield (50 defense). This is better than anything I've been able to combine so far.

Easiest way to explain is to complete the "Popla Foothills SkyView Tower" in the "Faron" area. You could skip this step, but I like having a way to warp back to where I started.

There is a depths entrance to the west of that tower. Drop in there and you can defeat two of the ninja clan guys who ride motorcycles that you can take, and the "Buses Lightfoot" is next to that spot. Directly east from that lightroot is a "construct factory." Coordinates 0867, -2277, -0556. Climbing this factory netted me about 250 poes and the aforementioned weapon and shield.

I was one of the bigger skeptics.

Still don’t like the breaking weapons but the fuse helps a lot. I’m having a great time with the puzzles.

Think I’m about to go into my first dungeon.
