Super Mario Bros U - Deluxe - anyone else looking forward to this?

2D Scrolling style Mario game coming out in January
Looks like a lot of throw backs to the 2nd NES Mario where different characters have different attributes. Appears to have some multiplayer tandem modes as well from the gameplay video

Had a Wii U and bought this. Certainly a fun game, I'm not interested in it again. I hope others enjoy it.

I never owned a Wii U, and it sounds like a solid coop title. I like 2d Mario games so I’m down to give this a shot. Wish it were discounted since it seems like a straight rehash, but it feels like a new game to me.

This game came with my Wii U and I thought it was pretty fun, though a little bland.
(I'd really like for them to come out with a new Super Mario Maker for Switch, because I had a blast playing that and making my own levels with my kids.)

Yes please. As mentioned earlier with not enough ppl playing the Wii U, this is a port that needs to happen. So much fun and we still go online and play levels and my daughter watches tons of YouTube videos with insane levels that we try.

I got the Wii U years ago just for Zelda and super Mario. I am glad that I don't have to buy another system as the games are so far... available in Switch and Wii U.

Definitely looking forward to this. I already got my son Super Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Christmas.

I had the Super Mario version of the game on WiiU but decided to go ahead and get this Deluxe version for the Switch since it includes both the Mario and Luigi games all in one.
I've been playing Super Luigi U for the past few days and having a blast with the short 100 second courses. I think I've maxed out the 3 star coins in every level up to Peach's Castle and am now working on that. Most of the levels are fairly easy but there are some that have tested me.
