That's more or less on your ISP at that point. Hoping to have my fiber connect done here in the next month or so at which point I will try out Stadia and Game Pass streaming service.

I have fiber and streaming services like Stadia and xCloud work great for me, at least as far as the few single player games I've tried are concerned. I've never tried any multiplayer or fast-paced games. Is it perfect? No, but it's good enough for me. I hope that once xCloud gets up and running for PC that I will have no need for my xbox.

Just kinda thinking out loud but wont hardware capabilities always be a step ahead of what streaming can do? I can see streaming becoming a much more viable option in the future but I cant imagine it ever becoming the only option.

it will take a long time for data centers and stream tech to get to that point, but it will be no different than just logging into netflix straight from your smartTv

No one would be able to tell you this, because Xbox exclusives are released on Game Pass on day one.
ETA: Example: Gears 5 didn't have stellar sales in week 1, but it was still the "biggest launch week of any Xbox Game Studios title this generation." LINK

Really do not think Microsoft gives 2 craps about selling copies any longer.
Gamepass has passed 15,000,000 users now. Just sit back and let that sink in and what it means. Still have not factored the growth coming from EA, ZeniMax and xCloud.
Sony is about to see itself winning the console battle and yet still lose the war.

And Sony has 41 million PS plus subscribers, and 2.2 million on PS now. What’s your point? I’m pretty sure the studios care about the $1.68 Billion in revenue they made from those sales.

Yeah, yawn. Those games do nothing for me. And based on the fact PS sold over 100 million PS4 units and those 3 games only averaged interest less than 10% of PS4 owners tells me I'm not alone. Y'all keep sucking off PS for their exclusives, most console owners don't care as much as y'all think they do about PS exclusives.
