Sony is Finally Selling Official Black Plates for the PS5 (and other colors too)

Spray painted mine metallic black when I got it. Easy and cheap. Would like to do that to the controllers, too, but it’s a PITA to take them apart.

So do they feel the PS5 plastic is going to suffer like SNES and turn ugly arse yellow in short time?

No, it's a way to make $60 off two pieces of plastic.
I wasn't even interested, but I have the red controller (it's awesome) and now I'm looking at that sexy red and black PS5. Marketing works.

It's so great that you can get covers for the damn thing, but you can't actually get a console. That makes so much sense.
