RPG Shooter - Long Campaign

Haven't played one since Fallout 3 so I am a bit spoiled. Anything out there similar with a deep campaign?
Don't want multi-player.
Is Borderlands 2 good?
Damn Bethesda spoiling me with their open ended spend 100 hours in game without starting the main quest games.

Na. Want something different than Fallout although I am hoping we hear some news about Fallout 4 soon. Hope they don't stick it on the shelf like Blizzard did to everything when they started work on their MMORPG.

I played through all of the Mass Effects (with all the DLC) again about a month ago and that was incredible enjoyable. First time I had played it through with the same Shepard.

I like the same games and long campaigns are going out the window. I did get a good bit of game play out of Dead Space 3.

Are you for games like Fallout 3? If so you probably want to skip Borderlands 2, it's a good game in it's own right but not in the deep campaign aspect.

Pretty good description. It is kind of a mindless shooter. If you don't listen to the conversations no big deal but they are funny.

The big difference between Fallout and the others is that Fallout is actually an RPG where the others are moreso shooters (Mass Effect 2, 3, and Borderlands).

Just finished farcry this morning. Going back over and trophy whoring myself out and trying to get the easy ones. If u like fallout 3 then you should enjoy dicking around in this one. Leaving c4 in the road for an oncoming car or luring a tiger to clear a camp is so enjoyable.

Far Cry 3 can be a long game if you soak up side missions.

I enjoyed the assassination side missions other than that and taking camps I didnt do anything but main mission line...that and finding the highest peak and jumping off in my wingsuit

God I hate those dogs...PETA wouldnt have liked the way I treated those packs of pitbulls. The OT Board would have approved though...
