Had my dog get hit twice in 1 week. Without a fail, this recipe has worked. 1 bottle of peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and a tbs of dawn dish detergent. Scrub into dog with mixture all over. Wash off with water. Skunk scent was gone. I keep all three items and a bucket on hand at all times

I’ve seen StarCraft mentioned many times. A couple of friends and I still play SC:BroodWar on battle.net every Tuesday and Thursday night. The community is small but it’s still really easy to get games. Lobby wait times are less than a minute before we get a 3v3 BGH
re: How would you have ended GoT?
Posted by e=mc^escher on 7/3/22 at 3:59 pm to SaintlyTiger88
IMO the show was great in the beginning bc of how punishing it was emotionally. A lot of time bad prevailed over good. Characters didn’t have plot armor. I would have liked the final season to instead be one where egos and power grabbing were more important than the threat to the north. Perhaps the Starks pleading with the Lannisters for help with the northern threat. Meanwhile Cersei ignores it because she sees it as a opportunity to grab land/power and see the Stark house fall — and totally ignoring the fact the soon the threat would be at her front steps too. Eventually the entire continent is overwhelmed bc houses couldn’t reconcile their differences for a short enough time to deal with the zombies.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. As much grief as EA gets, their games are VERY well optimized. I played BF4 on a 2GB 750ti with no problems. Granted you'll prob need more than 2gb of VRAM for this iteration but it won't be extreme.

I signed up for this online course and I don't have a bad thing to say about it. It was $1100 I think which was cheaper than other courses. They overnight you a binder (or two if you sign up for the morning and afternoon session) with all the course materials and formulas and hundreds of problems. During the course we took 4 practice exams. When I went to take the actual PE the only materials I used were the binders. Finished the morning exam in 2hrs and the afternoon in the 2.5. Great course and can't recommend it enough.

I highly recommend Mr. Jack. It's a two player game but my wife and I enjoy the heck out of it.

How was the remastered first one? I remember playing the old one with my grandfather but I was young and too dumb to figure out the puzzles. Just curious if the remastered is a click and move like the original.

Ive been messing around with Mount and Blade:Warband mods and the best resources were nexusmods, moddb and taleworlds. Also had some good luck just reading steam forums.

Maybe a bad comparison but I tell people that civ is like the board game Risk on steroids. If thats what u want then get civ.

My buddy educated me on a game style that we are gonna try. Its called Succession. You play with as many people you want. Everyone agrees on a set amount of turns, say 15. First person takes their 15 turns and saves. He sends the saved file along with a history of what happened in those 15 turns to the next person. 2nd person takes his 15 and passes to next person with history. Rinse repeat with 3rd, 4th, etc...
That civfanatics website plays this alot. Fun to read about the history of their games

Playing one currently where Cathy of Russia is in the lead for every victory condition. Also has a 1 delegate lead so she hosted 3 WC in a row. Decided enough was enough. With the help of my only ally who embraced the same ideology as me, freedom, I sent the demise of Cathy in motion. Instead of hopelessly voting for myself and losing again I swung all my votes to my best friend, Gandhi. He wins election and together we enact a standing army tax and prohibit the use her main lux resource. Meanwhile, im feeding Gandhi my uranium and denouncing cathy in hopes gandhi will make it nuclear rain on her, setting her shuttle building back to 0.

This one is interesting but makes sense. I used MoV as soon as I got one and instantly regretted it when venice and my puppet CS didnt have access to iron. So I guess I learned to wait till the iron is revealed and choose wisely.

So true. Hes usually the person I sell my cities to or just give them to him for free. When he comes knocking for some free stuff, I double him up. Guess thats the whiteman shame in me for taking his land in real life.
Srb, have you tried playing with Venice? Im still trying to perfect my strategy with them. Got any good tips if you have played with them?

I just got BNW last week on the steam sale so im not as familiar with the new civs. I will say that Hiawatha with the Iroquois nation is the most loyal person ive played with. I usually play 8 players and make 7 randoms and Hiawatha. Hes a great ally if you arent a warmonger. Id suggest you read up on the civs if u have time to waste like me. civ personalities
Also for giggles, Ganghi has an easter egg that the devs put in the game as a nod to a coding issue with Gandhi in civ2. If u can keep him alive till the atomic era, he will rain nukes on everyone. Its quite entertaining.

Roads between your cities will help with the unhappiness. Also lux resources will cut down. Also there are happiness generating building to cut down on the unrest. My suggestion is to sell off some of your smaller satellite cities that dont give you much benefit.
Typically, I will finish the game with 5 maybe 6 cities. I dont start large scale wars until 1800s and usually I try to get others to fight for me via denouncing and ratting others out with the spies then I sit back and watch. Also, I sell cities I capture to my allies or sometimes sell them to the person im about to go to war with to bankrupt them before my blitzkrieg.
My favorite civ is Babylon. Get walls of babylon and good archers early on and the they pump out great scientist very fast. Usually by the turn of the 18th century im 7-12 techs ahead of everyone else.

Good to hear. NCHS had two good Fs down low. Austin Guy and the giant soph #32.
It amazing how good and how young NCHS is. Micah will have a great team for a while. Im already getting nervous for the game. About 90% sure i'll be there.
