re: Dog just got skunked.
Posted by e=mc^escher on 6/30/23 at 12:02 am
Had my dog get hit twice in 1 week. Without a fail, this recipe has worked. 1 bottle of peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and a tbs of dawn dish detergent. Scrub into dog with mixture all over. Wash off with water. Skunk scent was gone. I keep all three items and a bucket on hand at all times...

re: What's your favorite computer video game from years past ?
Posted by e=mc^escher on 9/12/22 at 10:27 am
I’ve seen StarCraft mentioned many times. A couple of friends and I still play SC:BroodWar on battle.net every Tuesday and Thursday night. The community is small but it’s still really easy to get games. Lobby wait times are less than a minute before we get a 3v3 BGH...
re: How would you have ended GoT?
Posted by e=mc^escher on 7/3/22 at 3:59 pm
IMO the show was great in the beginning bc of how punishing it was emotionally. A lot of time bad prevailed over good. Characters didn’t have plot armor. I would have liked the final season to instead be one where egos and power grabbing were more important than the threat to the north. Perhaps the ...

I wouldn't worry too much about this. As much grief as EA gets, their games are VERY well optimized. I played BF4 on a 2GB 750ti with no problems. Granted you'll prob need more than 2gb of VRAM for this iteration but it won't be extreme....

My buddy educated me on a game style that we are gonna try. Its called Succession. You play with as many people you want. Everyone agrees on a set amount of turns, say 15. First person takes their 15 turns and saves. He sends the saved file along with a history of what happened in those 15 turns to ...
