Looking at those headphones makes me want to get a nice sound card, like the Xonar Essence STX. Otherwise nice headphones like that would be wasted on my onboard sound.

Download 3dmark 11 demo from steam and run that. Helps you show off how big your e-peen really is

Has anyone tried 3dmark Fire Strike? I ran it once just to see what it looked like. It was the demo so it was annoying watching the crappy graphics first. I might torrent it just to watch it with increased settings.

Soooo seeing that i have been done with my builds for about to weeks now, i want to see what yall think of it. And what i can improve maybe a few months down the line. I paid alot less for some of these items, at the time they had better discounts, it came out to be 950.

The Windows program was free.... not saying how i got it...

Basically you get can get a 1440p monitor. If you do that you will need a new graphics card or to sli that 660. If you go the sli route you may need a new psu too with more wattage. Other than that you should get an ssd when you have the chance. poncho villa is selling his. You should buy it so I don't. I don't have the time or money for it but its a good deal.

Well i thought about getting it, but i was told i would have to reload everything back on to my computer if i went that route. i had thought i could just copy everything over to the SSD including the operating system. Truthfully i didnt want to go through that pain again lol.

The "pain" of loading your operating system onto the ssd is well worth it, trust me. If I were you i would get that ssd.

you can clone your HDD to the SSD (assuming you have enough storage space), and once the SSD is verified and up and running you can just format the HDD.

eta: newegg has the chronos deluxe 240GB for $155. thats a GREAT price for a fast SSD.

Poncho is selling a 250gb samsung 840 for $100. My samsung 840 120gb was $100 brand new so I would grab his if I were you. 120gb is great just for operating system, core programs, and a few games but 150 gives you plenty of room.

sapphire 7970 for $300 after MIR
This one looks to be pretty good
