My GPU(s) do I need for 1440?
Are you trying to ask what GPU would you need for 1440p?
Optimal would be 7970 or better. You can use less at reduced settings.

That's weird. I could have sworn I typed "what". Damn beer.

Guy just told me he needed his budget bumped down to about $1200-1300. Can you adjust accordingly? He said strictly for gaming and maybe some CAD work.

Yeah, here's a good 1440p setup for $1350 including keyboard (I'd just go cheaper on the keyboard to lower it a bit): LINK
Here's a $1,240 1080p system including the keyboard. It's been configured to make it easier to upgrade to 1440p later: LINK
Note the $124 worth of rebates. This is a pretty good deal (those rebates expire so you gotta act fast). That MSI Twin Frozr for $339 is an excellent price. I missed it in my last configuration.

Alright I'll let him know. Thanks.

Somebody recommend me a goddamn headset. Apparently Turtle Beaches suck...

My Turtle Beach X12s work fine and should do you well if you want a more inexpensive brand. I've heard good things about Sennheisers if you're willing to spend some more.

I have PX3s but they said I sounded like two dicks being smashed between an a-hole or something.

I have the px11s. Got 'em free when i had enough gamestop points. No body's complained yet so they must be good. I think they're $60 regular price.

I haven't taken them online, so maybe the mic quality isn't the best but I'm on a budget so I don't care about that.
A twitch broadcaster I watch uses these and the mic on them comes through really clear on the broadcast. I'm sure the sound is excellent, too, but you have to pay a pretty penny for them: LINK

How much? I use a really nice pair of headphones and a cheap pic that works really nice

The Px3s were $150 so less than that...
