oh yeah great card especially seeing the way you have all the 1 egg ratings showing lol

Ha I was reading through them for any consistent issues. Nothing too consistent so I would pick it up. I want to buy something so bad but i am stopping myself

Shitty cooling on that card though

Is it? I didn't see anything about it
eta: even the bad reviews were saying that it keeps cool

the original sapphire coolers are crap
dual x is standard
vapor x is pretty damn good
those 7970s have the same problem the 7950s do - freezing/flicker in 2D applications. i fixed mine by simply installing the new beta drivers last month.
most of the negative reviews are ignorance, not really card related. buy it if u want to upgrade.

My card is dual x and cools great. It did fine with raising voltage too, just didn't want to be stable so raising voltage didn't help it. i want to upgrade but am stopping myself.
No shite, some of those comments are just stupid

i saw a one-egg review of a card because "it wont fit in my case". ditto for a motherboard review.
you should have to take a test before leaving comments on newegg.

I remember when reading a while back the blu ray lord of the rings trilogy theatrical version was rated at like 1 star. All of the comments were rating it 1 star because they said it was a rip off releasing that first and the extended version is better. Does that really make it 1 star?

speaking of blu rays, i like the OEM blu ray player reviews that knock off eggs for not including blu ray playing software - even though the product is clearly marked OEM.
you know, because its not possible for someone to already have the software or anything. tards. all of em.

I love when people troll with their reviews and put ridiculous shite.
What is a good 3rd part amd utility to control settings? I am looking for something like nvidia has with their adaptive vsync.

thats a coyote/too question. i hate to say it but i havent gamed in awhile, too much to do. all i want out of my rig is to play whatever game @ 60fps @ 1080p.
id like to go multi monitor for gaming, but only after they (amd or nvidia) get their shite together for PLP setups.

1080 at 60fps is all I do too. problem is some games get these random dips at certain points and with vsync it drops it all the way to 30 which is a noticeable difference. However if i start going about 60fps with vsync off then I get tearing. I helped the situation a little bit by overclocking my monitor but it only went to 66fps.

you can try RadeonPro. I might try it out and see how it goes.

Edited because it looks like they started working on it again. Also, it has dynamic vsync.

My GPU went up to 75 while playing BF3. It looked pretty though.

The most pathetic reviews I see are from people with high speed memory complaining about the default speeds in the bios. If they don't understand memory controllers, and won't take 10 seconds to find out before leaving a 1-egg review, they should dismantle and return/sell everything.

yeah ive seen plenty of those too. the whole "the card/board will not fit in my case" thing really cracks me up though.
tests should be required for:
procreation
voting
leaving reviews/feedback
