Multiple videos coming out now from the big youtubers on this. Not sure what Nvidia was thinking other than "any publicity is good publicity" I guess. Just saw jayz2centz come out with his video, and basically ended saying blacklist me too, IDC, lol

Anyone have a 60% keyboard going unused they would part with?

That really isn't the issue here. The issue is Nvidia attempting to control the reviews and coverage of their cards by refusing to provide review samples to those reviewers whom they think aren't being "positive" enough with their reviews.
Nvidia is in a position where they can do whatever they want, they don’t need reviews. They can’t keep up with demand. If they don’t want to give their cards to people who don’t give them good reviews, oh well. These reviewers are whiney bitches when they don’t get free shite for any reason.
I hate the “I’m an influencer, give me free shite and if you don’t, I’m gonna put you on blast” garbage. With supply not able to meet demand, I’d like to see the whole industry just go to a you have to get in line with everyone else system.

Seems like you're skirting the issue and sucking off Nvidia. We got enough fanboys around here.
They deserve the heat. Period.

Yeah you are totally missing the point. They’re not bitching bout getting cut, they’re bitching about why they got cut and the heat is warranted. Nvidia pulled it because they said something critical about an Nvidia product feature.
It’s certainly their right to pull it, but there’s no way around it being chickenshit.

Nvidia can suck it. They deserve the bad press.
While their cards are in demand, there is far more than the hype of the cards that is keeping stock low. Factories shut down, bots, and horrible management by the retailers.

Dude, all you do is fan boy. I have no issues buying from anyone. You bitch about anyone you don’t like constantly. My position on this issue wouldn’t change if it was Intel or AMD doing the same thing, it is not tied to the company.
I know the issue. Nvidia doesn’t like bad shite said about them from people who they gave free shite to and so they pulled the free shite. I don’t like the ethics of reviewers getting free things because of this, it’s better off if they pay, then you won’t run into this issue. That is a much more ethical position to present a review, the reviewer isn’t in any debt to the product company. Write it off as a business expense.
Second, frick AMD or Nvidia giving free shite to people when they are having issues delivering to paying customers.

LSUCoyote said he was gonna send me one last year he wasn’t using. We exchanged emails and everything. Never heard back about it since.

Put it this way - the shite we would buy would look a lot different if all companies did what Nvidia did to people reviewing their products.

Not really, people can do research outside of youtube, we did it for a long time before these people existed. They can make a living without getting freebies. Those of us that don’t pay attention to them would still get to see benchmarks in their normal place from people who are first adopters. It’s just easier for these people to get one before anyone else without any cost. This does impact their bottom line on YouTube substantially and this is why they are angry. They make their high view counts by being first with the devices. If they have to get in line with everyone else, then other people will be doing the videos first. Doesn’t impact big youtubers as much with already established audiences because they will still get high views.
If we are all fanboys anyway, doesn’t these reviewers just help us confirm our biases and not impact our purchasing habits?

I’d rather them get it for free so I can know it is a good purchase then me going off of nothing.
Also, reviewers live off their reputation or nobody would trust them. Free shite is not of their concern when they are talking about their livelihoods. It’s just a nice perk.

It totally is a huge part of smaller channel livelihoods and even the bigger channels would see a decreased view count if they were forced to deal with bots and queues like the rest of us and other less known channels got to be first to review. Being gifted products well before the masses helps their channels out greatly.
Being in the good graces of these manufacturers can really make your channel.

I wouldn’t trust them if they bent the knee for a good review for a $700 item.

And that’s why it’s an ethical problem in the first place, many a company have rules against accepting free shite from vendors.
Don’t want to be in that position, don’t put yourself in that position.

I don't really think you realize you're making my point. If Nvidia cuts access, because hes not giving favorable reviews to a certain feature, that directly impacts HUB. That is their entire day job.
How are you failing to see this?

I fully see this and see the ethical issues with it. When you depend on a company to give you free shite as the means you live by, you now live in a compromised position in debt to that company. You cannot complain if they decide to revoke your nice little sweetheart deal if they don’t like what you write about them. They gift that card for advertising and if there is no worth there for them because they don’t get the advertising they want, they can take their little sweetheart deal elsewhere.
The YouTube review industry is an ethical nightmare built on being the first to receive goods at no cost.

I’m ready to boost my older PC a bit. What options do I have to make my setup better?
GPU: 1660TI
CPU: I5-3570K @ 3.40GHz
MB:Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
PSU: Corsair CX500
I’m thinking it’s time to upgrade the CPU? Are they just plug and play?
