So I'm thinking of trading my U2518D and a little cash for a PG279Q only thing is the monitor has a spot




The guy says it's completely invisible when playing games and movies but noticable on a white screen. Never really seen anything like it, doesn't seem like a stuck pixel to me. Was seeing if anyone has had this issue before?

I think that's a dead pixel and I think you can fix it.

Dead pixels are rarely fixable... You're a luckily few if can get it fixed

I have a 0% success rate fixing dead or "stuck" pixels.

Yeah even with that the guy wanted to much, just kept my monitor and bought the 27 Omen for $300 (what the guy wanted) from Walmart.

G Sync is amazing on 1440p.

Anyone have any longterm success with OCing a monitor? My biggest concern is shortening lifespan.

Yes I OC all my Koreans if possible. If it doesnt OC well you can then buy after market TCons.

How well did they overclock? And did you just go through the nvidia stuff or use a different program?
