That is just console. Right? It says Aug 1st on the PC version on the Windows app/launcher also.

No. It clearly shows and says Origin Access Premiere Play 8 days early on August 2nd.
8 days early from August 10th release = 2nd.

I do not see that anywhere, Madden has the same release date on all platforms, August 10th.
Preorder Hall of Fame edition gets you 3 day early access on the 7th. Origin Premiere Access starts on August 2nd.
All platforms.
If you google where you got yours from it's a reddit poster. Bad info.

Thought I posted the thread. I also agree with you with the 10th. But Origin for months said 1st. Just getting home. On laptop now. We post links in the this post.

So I think the 8days from August 9th not 10th is the correct math. Why we end up with the August 1st date? My origin says August 1st also. I'm buying outright now, lets see what happens.

Because Origin goes by eastern time zone so it's 11pm that night, instead of midnight on the other platforms which is the 10th.
Only the Hall of Fame Edition through Origin Access Premiere is 8 days early.

MY origin app and website as well as the EA Sports website all say the 2nd so yeah I don't know, the image I posted is from EA's site not reddit.

That's for standard edition, we're talking about the 8 day early access through Origin Access Premiere.
Alright I did the $15 1 month of it and pre-loaded so we'll see tomorrow I guess.

Well it's not bad, some bugs and shite but gameplay isn't as bad as in the videos.
It's more or less the same game as console and the same game as last year.
I wouldn't pay $60 for it.

Didn't look at any ratings. Hopefully they treat my Steelers good.

If you haven't played it in years and just want to get the fix/experience then go for it.
Otherwise it's the same shite it has been for years with updated rosters.
But instead of dropping $60 on it I would suggest dropping $100 on the Origin Access Premiere for 1 year so you get BF5 and every other game included for a year. Plus all their other titles.
