Have any master race members played the last of us? I just don't see how it could possibly live up to the hype they are giving it.

Don't have a PS3 but watched a playthrough from start to end. I honestly find it highly overrated. Awesome story with great voice acting, but the gameplay is pretty average, the AI is horrible, and there are plenty of immersion-breaking moments. I'd say it's a solid 9 but calling it one of the best games ever is ludicrous to me.

I've played it, worthy of the hype. It has typical game issues but the quality of story and game play set the bar very high.

Coyote told me today he was shipping me that case "and other goodies"

What's the odds he sends me a free Titan as well?

I'm looking forward to seeing what he's got for you! I'm guessing an old mobo or video card... Anyone want to take some bets?

I mean it looks fun, I just think it's possible people are still in the moment with this one so they are riding high. I look forward to playing it fairly soon though and forming my own opinion. Maybe after I beat uncharted

It is a solid game. Not quite as good as I hoped but still DEFINITELY playable.

I have 8 more 1155 sockets, well 4 more after I fix the next batch of boards I have coming in today, and I know 1155 and Z77 are pretty much dying. I can't get 1150 replacement parts yet, plus there aren't any damaged 1150 boards to be had. Should I go all 2011?

I can find sockets for them for $10 more than the 1155 sockets and the damaged boards also cost a little more but that would be offset by the higher resell value.

I just wonder how much longer I could squeeze reselling these 1155 refurbs is what I am getting at instead of dumping money into 2011 sockets and a 2011 CPU for my test bench.

I am trying to decide because it takes two weeks to get sockets in from China and I need to order some today.

I would say go for the 2011 but that depends on how cheap you can get a cpu. A lot of people aren't going to migrate to haswell so now is the time to move on that enthusiast market which still values 2011 based cpus. Mind re socketing that 1155 asus board I fricked up?

mear if you are out there, its okay. If it makes you feel better I'll open up first. My first time I didn't plug in my 8pin cpu connector or seat my ram correctly. On top of that I ended up breaking pins on the socket when trying to RMA parts. I know what it feels like to make a mistake, and at least your mistake didn't cost you anything to replace.

Now tell us what stupid thing you overlooked. lol
